Fog's Sycamore Frame

I created this image one morning on the Wabash River in Fairbanks Park. I chose to set this scene using a large Sycamore Tree as the natural frame that would surround the thick fog in the distance and create a space on the water for a boat in my picture! Amazingly, I only had to wait a very short time to capture this boat moving through the perfect spot in my picture! "Fog's Sycamore Frame" was awarded 3rd Place in the 2015 TREES Inc. Photography Competiton.
