Brown County State Park is the largest of 24 state parks in Indiana, and occupies 15,776 acres making it one of the larger state parks in the United States. The park opened in 1929, and was dedicated in 1932 as a memorial to Indiana humorist Frank McKinney "Kin" Hubbard.
This image I created at one of the overlooks in Brown County State Park showcases the vast expanse of the park lands. An amazing pallette of Fall colors displayed in the canopies of all the various types of trees gives the visual appearance of flowing like a river into the center foreground of the scene. A blue sky added the final touch to this image.
